Develop Senior Executives
Senior executives are often given minimal development. However a sounding board and a source of honest, direct feedback can be invaluable. There are two main approaches: external executive coaching and turning senior leaders into internal coaches.
External Executive Coaching
External executive coaches are often the most effective tool for providing support and development at this level. The coaches need to have had business experience at a similar level, though not necessarily in the same industry, and need to be highly competent coaches.
The matching of coach and client is important, and trial sessions are provided to ensure a good fit. In the Results model, a project manager oversees the relationship, whether there is one or one hundred executives being coached. The coaching is monitored through qualitative measures developed by RCS and agreed upon up front with our clients.

Turning Senior Leaders into Internal Coaches
Developing senior leaders into coaches for up and coming staff is a highly effective way of developing the leadership skills of your leaders across the board. Senior leaders gets to hone their skills with one or two top people, and learn new communication skills that can be applied in everyday working life (informal coaching) and coaching engagements (formal coaching).
