Your Coaching Business

The Coaching Industry

Coaching established itself as an industry about 15 years ago and still enjoys the benefits of being a high interest industry to people and organisations alike.

In the workplace, coaching is fast becoming recognised as one of the most vital tools for improving performance. Many organisations use coaches with senior executives, or run internal coaching programs to develop their managers' ability to coach their staff.

As a self regulated industry, its important to align yourself with a coaching organisation that has been accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ICF is the regulating body for coaching worldwide and offers accreditation to schools and individuals.

RCS is an ICF Accredited Coach Training School and offers an ICF Credential Pathway for those wishing to obtain an internationally recognised credential.

Coaching as a Career

Coaching is one of the most fulfilling careers anyone could have. Many coaches report that they receive as much enjoyment from coaching as their clients do.

Being a coach allows you to design your life the way you want to. As a business you determine how much you coach, who you coach and when you coach. Many people leave their jobs and start coaching full time upon completion of their coach training, others make the transition from part time to full time as their practice builds momentum.

Finding Clients

Completing the Intensive Coach Training (ICT) Program gives you everything you need to start your coaching practice. The program is designed to get you out there coaching as soon as possible. One of the ICT objectives is that each participant is coaching at least 2 clients by the end of the program. Most participants finish with 2 or more, helping them build confidence and momentum with their coaching.

As part of the training we teach you how to structure coaching relationships and how to run introductory sessions to make getting clients easy.

Our coaching model is just as effective with coaching individuals, business owners, or executives, so you can decide on a speciality - for example you might want to focus on retail managers, or you may prefer to be a generalist and coach a variety of clients. Our coaching system works in all situations.
